Amer Deeba
Amer Deeba, a native of Lebanon, is the Middle East liaison for the Eduarte Courtot Foundation, which focuses on expanding educational opportunities for impoverished children. A member of the foundation’s board, Amer is committed to finding opportunities to support schools in need, especially those located in economically challenged countries.
Amer Deeba is a senior executive with extensive experience in product marketing, sales go-to-market strategies, and product development. She has built a record of driving the growth of companies in fast-moving industries, including technology and healthcare. Previously, she served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Qualys.

Deeba began her career at Adobe Systems as a software engineer, and met her mentor Phillippe Courtot, a French-American serial entrepreneur and business executive. Deeba left Verity to work as a software engineer at Adobe Systems. After working for Adobe, she reunited with Courtot at Signio, an online payments startup. Later, she joined Versign as GM of the payments division.
Amer Deeba originally planned to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science. She spent several years in the tech industry after earning her master’s degree and gaining valuable work experience. While she initially aimed to pursue a PhD, she changed her course to focus on the business of IT.
Rima Bruno
Rima Bruno is a native of Zahle, Lebanon. She studied at Fern University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance. After graduating, she immigrated to the United States and attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She then worked in various leadership positions at high-tech companies in the Bay Area, where she specialized in Human Resources and Mergers and Acquisitions. She also created several corporate social responsibility programs. In 2018, she established the Eduarte Courtot Foundation.
Freya Anne Eduarte
Freya Anne Eduarte is a Filipino-American who works in the field of digital media. She earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Fern University in Manila. After graduating, she immigrated to the United States. She then studied at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Her previous jobs included working as a graphic designer in the Philippines. She established the Eduarte Courtot Foundation in 2018.
